EricSchurrThis is a great video! I do exactly what you say — i slide, which keeps my weight back, and i hit massive pushes/push fades or a duck hook. I am working hard on turning rather than shifting. When i do it helps a lot. It’s a bit harder on my back, but it’s clearly the right thing to do. thanks!

Now hearing this reply this is what is killing your back. A slide adds too much sideways compression and it is touch to get to the vertical position overtop of the lead leg. So you need to be working on this asap.
