HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 5-star

Buy Swing Caddie SC 200 Plus Here

Check out my Swing Caddie SC200 Plus review above before buying.

NEW FEATURE – The guys at VoiceCaddie have now added a practice swing mode to the SC200 Plus.  So same features but now you can use it without hitting a ball.  Set it to Practice Swing Mode.  Then set it up anywhere 4.5 feet behind the clubhead.  Now as you do practice swings (no ball) it will tell you your swing speed.  This is great for working on your swing at home because now you will know if you’re increasing your swing speed or not.  I love this new feature.

The Swing Caddie SC200 Plus is a portable launch monitor which gives you shot data at an affordable price.  Plus, it’s so small you can carry it in your golf bag or even in your pocket.

Here is the data this portable launch monitor displays:

  • Carry Distance
  • Swing Speed
  • Ball Speed
  • Smash Factor

Sure, the Swing Caddie doesn’t give you all of the info you might be looking for but it also doesn’t cost thousands of dollars.  This data is valuable is you are working on your swing, trying new clubs or shafts, trying to increase your swing speed etc.

Not only am I offering this portable launch monitor for the lowest price but the company is throwing in this free bonus. (discount pricing below).

It’s Not Just A Portable Launch Monitor

The Swing Caddie portable launch monitor also has 3 modes:  Practice, Target and Approach.  This means you can not only hit normal shots and get your data but you can fine tune specific clubs and use it to work on your shots from 100 yards and in (this is amazing!).

It also has voice output as well so you don’t even have to look at it.  It will tell you the numbers.

This is not like any other pocket radar unit.  When you turn it on you enter what clubs are using.  This means you enter the lofts of your clubs so the data it displays is accurate to the clubs you are actually using.

Not only do you enter your lofts it also calculates barometric pressure for an even more accurate reading.

If you’re looking for the best portable launch monitor at the best price then look no further than the Swing Caddie SC200 Plus.

I only review products I trust and I certainly trust this portable radar unit.

Paul, is the SC200 usable indoors just to sample swing speed??

  2. I need one of these. Are they really that accurate? Can they be used hitting in to nets inside during winter? If they ship to Norway i am sold! 🙂

      Stian,

I use it all the time. I had one person email me after comparing it side by side with Trackman and the numbers were almost identical. I got their test numbers and they were almost identical. They do ship to Norway. I think you need the net about 10 feet away. You can order it here to get my discount: http://www.swingcaddie.com/ignitiongolf

      • Ok Thanks for the reply. This should make winter practice more fun. Can even dial in my short game distances 🙂

  3. Paul,

I have a question for you about Golf Simulators for indoors. I am building a new home and will have some type of Golf Simulator so that I can play everyday (as I live in Canada) my sons are excited that they will be able to keep their swings year round. Do you have any experience with them and are there certain things to look for in getting a quality one? I have been looking at Foresight monitors and just not up to speed on what I need (we have left and right hitters in the family) and will be able to use it in a room that will be 1000 sq feet. Any thoughts?

    Cheers……………………….

    • James,

Sorry I don’t really know much about them. Foresight is a good name.

          Paul,

Yes, they will give my students a discount. Just waiting on the final confirmation. I still didn’t think the practice swing mode was working properly. We were going back and forth about it then the holidays hit. I should find out soon. Once I do, I will let everyone know.

I bought the SC200 from Paul many months ago and took it to the driving range in order to average out my irons distances. The SC200 worked out well registering every shot I took..
Warning! My Swing Caddie got lots of attention that it brought out lots of interested-on-lookers from around the area keeping me from actually hitting golf balls…..
It’s well made with satisfactory results – I highly recommend this device!!

      Marvic,

I agree. The number are good and it’s real easy to set up. I use it in the my lessons. Glad you liked it.

Paul, do you do any tips on smash factor? Swing Caddie provides a link to a video by Rick Smith on how to use the Swing Caddie and he says to focus on this rather than distance. Wondering if SF should be the same for every club. Thanks again for recommending this great tool!

  6. Paul,
Is the Swing Caddie SC300 worth the extra (now close to double) cost that I would pay for a Swing Caddie SC200?

    • Rich,

I am now happy with the numbers from the SC300. I just got a new unit and the numbers are good. I really like it and will be using it from now on in my teaching and in tips. It does give you more data such as launch angle, apex and spin (in the app). These are important but if you just want the basic numbers then go with the SC200. I also like that it’s rechargeable too. If you want one let me know and I will send you my discount link for $499.99.

Getting close to winter. Is the SC200 able to analyze practice swings indoors for my winter training?

      Jim,

They are coming out with a new one that will measure practice swings. I will let everyone know when it’s available.

      Thanks.

  8. Hi. The new swing caddie 300, does it work hitting in to a net?

    • Yes it does. We have hit balls with it right next to a Trackman and the numbers were pretty much the same. This was inside into a net.

Paul, can the older SC200s be “software updated” to provide practice swing data???

  10. Paul, I received my SC200 back in March and take it with me every time I practice. I love it. It does its job. However, when I am hitting my Sand or Lob wedge at full speed at the practice range, the monitor records a shot of 80 to 85 yards but I see the ball land much shorter than 80. That result has cost me more than a couple of strokes when using these wedges on game day.

    • I would either make sure that it is on the correct golf club in its settings / correct distance from the golf ball or email the company or contact the company and ask their opinions.
