Paul, I know for myself, my biggest problem in really learning your technique was simply NOT trying to really understand and perfect EACH step in the Swing Machine process…And again, slowing down the swing to actually “feel” each component of the swing makes ALL the difference in the world….If members will diligently follow your step- by- strep process and perfect each step as they go, the results are every bit as amazing as you say…..I knew from the very first time I saw your videos you had it right—period…The physics of this method of swinging a golf club are undeniable and they work every time you obey those laws…Thank you again for all your hard work on this eintire program, from top to bottom!!!!!! Rand,

Funny how people want to learn yet they don’t do what I teach. I get this all of the time. The problem is the ball and people wanting to see good shots. So they start jumping around and hit a few good shots then they think they’ve got it so they stop working on it. These good shots are luck. If I put enough balls in front of any swing the person will hit a few good ones. Then they think “I’ve got it” “I just have to practice.” No. This is luck. You truly have it when you can do it all of the time for the majority of balls you hit. This takes understanding and work.

I have actually had people buy my products and return them after a week of working on it. This is the person I do not want doing my method. Glad you see it and have worked on it. The game is so much better when you can swing effortlessly all of the time. It is a swing for a lifetime. It never hurts and you can do it forever. My dad is 84. He hit one 270+ this year with carpal tunnel in 1 hand.

I have to continue educating people. There are so many people out there who can benefit from learning this swing. Just go to explain what it is going to take to get it.

Thanks so much Paul for your learning technique, you really have put it all together— aspecially what really drives the swing and that the arms really r powerless for consistent club face position at impact….thanks again……

Hi Paul. I have been swinging my arms at that ball since I was a kid and have never “gotten” how truly easy it is to hit with the hip. It’s still REALLY a weird feeling not to swing hardly at all (with my arms) and have the ball fly like never before. In fact immediately after hitting an awesome “no arms” rocket, my brain is still telling me immediately thereafter “it was your arms.” So I go back to my old Pavlovian ingrained habits. This is going to take some serious psychologival re-conditioning and motor skill re-learning!!! But the payoff of an exhilarating shot is so worth it. I can’t say I’ve got it yet but man – golf the old way is not worth playing and this is a lot more enjoyable.

    Paul,

I’m find it it much easier to to practice the powerless arms swings with woods and hybrids – for some reason the trust factor is just there. I am mentally blocked from not trying to hit it with long irons in particular. It is frustrating me to the point of oblivion – whatever drill you give me to do I will do, as many times as you recommend….

      Steve,

So stop trying to get powerless arms with long irons. Start to hit the positions (even if you have to use your arms). Once you get the positions then turn off your arms. No sense sitting here not getting anything. So you work on coiling and hinging going back. You try to touch the legs and split the ears into the through swing. You hit the shot. You hold it. You check it to see if you did it. If not, do practice swings trying to make it better. Then you try it again. You can also slow down. When people are having trouble doing it they are always trying to hit great shots. Change the thought. The thought is to do a perfect swing or a perfect position not to hit perfect shots. The perfect shots will come once you have the swing.
