Paul WilsonJoseph,
If you are not doing it you need this as a thought. I have done it for many years so I don’t think about it. It just goes there every time.

StevenFarberPaul,
I am still struggling with the club going down the back first, I can’t seem to finish directly in the correct position – is this a slide issue perhaps?
Thanks,
Steve

Steve WeberPaul,
How do you work on this position and keep the arms powerless? It seems like the brain wants to try to move the arms to that position. When I record my swing I can see where if I don’t end up touching the head my arms just move it there unconsciously. Do you just keep working on the correct backswing to get the arms to end up correctly or what is the best way to practice this?
Thanks

Paul WilsonSteve,
You don’t. You manually do the position until you know for a fact that you are doing it then you turn your arms off and it will go there on its own.
Do the practice swings. Feel the club on the back of your head in this position. You can certainly loosen up the arms then at the end make it go there. I want your club to end up in the exact same position every time you swing. I would be doing this towards a mirror nightly so you can check it make sure you are doing it. Now don’t cheat:
