BruceJespersenI was watching the masters tournament and they were talking about letting the left heal raise slightly on the backswing. What thoughts do you have on those?

I like the heel down in the backswing. If it lifts too much you may loose the ratio between shoulders, hips, knees and feet. Wrong ratio no torque. No torque and you will be hitting with your arms.

MarkShomHi Paul and other members,
I have been a member for over a year now and really practiced ALL aspects of Paul’s teaching and I was still struggling. (I actually practiced every day at home with a simulator also). Until recently, I stood as tall as possible and barley seeing my toes. This was the missing link. Believe it when Paul says it feels like you are standing straight up, but you are actually not. My consistency and distance immediately improved but the trick is not to tense up and stay loose. I hope this may help another member.

Very good. It all starts with grip and setup. This is vital. Just be careful you are not too tall. I have some people mistake what I am saying here. Sounds like you have it right. Now, you can progress to a whole new level.
