Hey Paul, was your club face on all your shots slightly open? Don

      Don,

Seems like it but did you see it slightly close as I took it back? Didn’t know it was even open. Maybe I should practice.

      Don,

Someone else mentioned that too. I didn’t even realize it but if you look again as I take it back it squares up.

    I find two features interesting.

Firstly, that the club head seems to hang back behind the hand movement on the takeaway.
Secondly. that your thumbs, at the top of the backswing do not appear to pint at the ears, but behind your head.

I would also add that the L and (backward) L positions are ones I need to internalise (UK spelling) and imagine replicating in practice and real swings.

    Thank you.

      Gordon,

Yes, proof positive I am not using my hands to take it back. I take it back with my shoulders.

Yes, but visually from the front they would be towards the ears. It is a visual thing not reality. I think I saw that when explain it. If they pointed right at your ear your swing would be too upright. Make sure you check this.

“Pint” should have read point. Wish there was a facility to edit ones’s own posts.

Paul….really enjoy your new top down view. Helps a lot to clear up some thoughts.

Paul, is it possible to show a top down view with close ups of just the arms and more particularly the movements of the wrists throughout the swing. The hands and wrists are not shown on this video and even if they were they would not be big enough to see so close ups only may show the wrist hinge in more detail.

      Derek,

I was actually going to do another series of vital elements of the swing. I will blow them up and see if they are clear enough.
