Paul, I have a question regarding “raising” of the arms after you’ve reached a 90 degree turn with the shoulders—-How far do u raise them???? What’s the proper or sufficient height that u want for the arms before u start your downswing motion? I noticed in these videos that your arms keep raising up AFTER you stopped rotating your shoulders….You are definitely raising your arms up using the shoulders, so when do u know to stop raising them? I’ve been trying (improperly) to reach the top of my backswing by rotating my upper torso passed 90 degrees and that’s obviously NOT what you’re doing to reach the apex of your golf swing….Please help….Thx

    • When looking down the line, you would want to see your lead arm slightly above your shoulder plane. The arms are only going a little further becasue of momentum. Film your golf swing, then look down the line view at your lead arm vs your shoulder turn and where your arms are. Slightly above would be ideal.

    Paul,

This shot clearly shows your head moving back onto your rear axis. This middle of your head appears to be directly over the inside of the rear foot. Very telling. I wish we could see the same shot at address so we could clearly see the movement from its starting position at set up.

    Great series!

    Thanks
    Mike
