MichaelBarrettPaul, I am 64 years old. In seeing a video of my swing, my backswing is very (too much) short. My shoulder turn is nearly 90 degrees, yet at the top the club is only 45 degrees. I do flexibility exercises daily to enhance my turn but it is not reflected in my swing position. What might be causing this? Am I likely too flat???

Paul WilsonMike,
Yes, you might be too flat or in too much of a hurry to hit the ball so you chop off the backswing.
Here are some tips I did on it:
Backswing Length: https://ignitiongolf.com/backswing-how-long/
How To Lengthen Backswing: https://ignitiongolf.com/lengthen-backswing/
Good Habits Series – Lengthen Backswing: https://ignitiongolf.com/good-habits-hinge/
Give that a try and see if you get longer.

ThomasGrayshould all of your clubs have the same parallel position at the top, or only the driver?
