PeterCoynePaul, great video. It looks like she locks her front leg simultaneous with the beginning of her turn, not later in her downswing. Is that your view? Thanks
Peter

Paul WilsonPeter,
I just watched her again. Seems the leg is locking through impact (as I describe) just after it locks dead straight. Yes, this is what I want people to do. I just did a tip on it last week because people tend to lock too late.

drj0420That was a great video ! Can you tell me what kind of driver she hits ? Loft ? Shaft stiffness ?
April 23, 2018
Paul WilsonYes, she did a great job. We had a lot of fun. I think it’s a Callaway 5 degree head. X stiff shaft. Long drive head specially made. Longer shaft too.

WillCooperFitness, strength and great flexibility clearly help Sandra attain the power she displays in her swing. Leg, buttocks, and core strength allow her to exert enormous force in turning through and pushing up as she swings through the ball. Muscular development further permits force to move efficiently and smoothly from the body to the club and the ball. Loose wrists and powerless arms are primary, but strength also magnifies swing speed and helps control. She’s impressive. Great video, Paul.

Paul WilsonWill,
Glad you liked it. She was definitely fit. Huge legs and hips. If you go to her Instagram page it shows her working out.

RickZechPaul,
She is letting her front heel come off the ground in her backswing. Obviously she gets a lot of distance that way. What are your thoughts?
April 23, 2018
Paul WilsonRick,
She is a a longer driver to get as much as she can. She doesn’t care about consistency just length. I want you keep it on the ground to get the torque of the coil. Once you do, you will get the distance and consistency.

johnstevensonWhat’s your thoughts on ground force vectors? She talks about pushing off the ground to generate power on her downswing!

Paul WilsonJohn,
I definitely want you using the ground. I just don’t want you to jump. Here is what I do:

RYDGJRHave to disagree with you on one thing. Ms Carlborg is certainly fit and athletic, but she does not have “huge legs & hips’.
April 24, 2018
Paul WilsonGary,
Not sure who you are disagreeing with. I said this too.
April 25, 2018
RYDGJRMy disagreement was to what you replied to Will above, not in anything that was said in the video.

Paul WilsonGary,
Well, I was standing right beside her and behind her and she had bigger legs than me.
