WilliamButlerYet another great tip. Does the weight shift onto the back instep begin in the takeaway or when you go from there up to the top?

Paul WilsonIt starts slightly from the start of the backswing. It will not be fully onto the back instep until the top of the backswing. Check out this video:

terrybadgerWhat is the effect of the club face on the ball when it is brought back int the way that student brought his club back? I think I have been doing the same thing as that student.

Paul WilsonWell, you are fanning it open so usually the person hits it with an open face. Rolling will also make the backswing too flat as you got back so you could lose distance too. A lot of people do this and they are usually out of position at the top so be sure to follow this tip. I am not taking it back with my hands. Create the letter Y and allow your body to take it back.
