Excellent tip. When you think about a hockey player using his weight transfer on his skates you could also relate this to the weight transfer in the golf swing. The weight on the hockey players skate must be on the inside edge of the trail skate and transferred to the inside edge of the forward skate in order to maintain power and balance. This relates very well to the golf swing while keeping the weight on the inside of the back foot and firing the weight transfer from that position to the forward foot. Again this was an excellent tip and really makes you think about things. I really enjoyed it. Thank you.

    Paul,

Just wondering if some of your other students experience what I am. I really like the “drive off of the right foot” swing trigger. But, I find that I also need to be cognizant of the need to straighten the left leg (literally driving the knee straight back as you describe in another video) so that my drive action is rotational as opposed to a left hip sliding action.

    Thanks
    Mike
