PhilipBarryHi Paul,
Enjoying all the tips since I joined. Having made what I thought of as a lot of progress, I have recently found myself topping a lot of shots. I think its because in turning my legs and hips I’m tending to lean back on my back leg as I swing down. Would be grateful for any help in this department! Many thanks.

Paul WilsonPhilip,
Glad you like the tips. Thanks for the feedback.
If you are topping it you are swinging too hard. Slow down. The harder you hit the more you will look to see what you hit (this is human nature). The harder you hit, the tighter your arms the more they contract through impact thus making the club shorter than the one you started with. So slow down and work on more precise movement. Coil and uncoil to the level you can actually do it. Once you are better at it uncoil a little faster. Then go a little faster and you should be at top speed.
