In this video I show you an unboxing of The Speed System Driver.  This driver is amazing and I highly recommend it to people with a swing speed of 100mph or less. This club is made for amateur golfers that is why it works so well.  Check out this unboxing to see what you get if you order.  Keep in mind my students and followers save $60 off the regular price.

  1. Hi Paul, thanks for the information on the Speed System Driver and for your thoughts about it. I have placed my order today and will let you know how I go once it arrives in Australia.

    • Fantastic! Please let me know how you play with it. I would love to hear of some student feedback. I know that you will love the driver.

      • Paul, Speed System Driver “Black” arrived a week ago and I took it to the range prior to a round today. Normal tee height and ball position based upon my old driver (R11) and the ball went high and hook. After a few more hooks and some adjustment: lowering the tee height and moving the ball back in the stance…275 on the launch monitor and 104 swing speed. I don’t like the grip and will change out tomorrow and the club is draw biased a good deal more than I am used too and thus the need to play it back in stance. Overall assessment very good and 20-30 yards distance increase during the round. Playing partner asked if I took steroids the past week as the ball was rocketing off the face and out driving him on almost all drives. I would like to see a driver with less draw biased in the future, as well as a 3-wood and maybe a few hybrids. I am sold. Looking forward to mastering the feel and enjoy the distance increase.

  2. Paul, my swing speed for 250+ is about 95 MPH. Would this club help me? Ron

    • The BLACK driver is made for up to 100mph swing speed, so this could definitely help you. They are trying to design one for higher swing speeds, but if you’re at 95mph then this could definitely benefit you.

  3. Paul,

Thanks for the feedback and I just ordered the Black Driver. Ron

  4. Hi Paul,
Just curious if having a lighter feeling club may make it harder to use “powerless arms”. Or is it just the opposite?

    Danny

    • You want your golf clubs to feel heavy for sure. This is done with drills like the “roll-over” drill, but with the speed system driver it is designed lighter to be able to swing faster. They have done multiple studies and comparisons and this is the optimum weight for the golf club to move its fastest.

  5. Hi Paul, you were right I love my new Black Speed System driver. I don’t have any specific Trackman data to quantify my extra distance but can say from playing that it’s a lovely club to use and when hit properly the ball just flies up the fairway. I’m sure I’m getting an extra 15-20 yards and of course the confidence you get from using a club you love also helps you to hit it well. It arrived in Australia within 5 days of ordering so great job Speed System. I’ve been using the Covid lock-down to work on my swing especially the powerless arms aspect so look forward to even greater distance from this club. Thanks again for your valuable views on it. Kind regards, Alistair.

    • Great stuff!! Glad you are enjoying it and hitting the ball further. Keep up the good work.

I am 60 yrs old, 5 ft 4 in, with small hands and currently play with a Calloway Razr fit 11.5 degree driver with a light flex shaft cut -1/2 in, with woman’s Winn grip, and average drive of 200 yds. Which speed driver would you recommend, and should I have the shaft cut down with smaller woman’s grip? Thanks.

Thanks! I purchased and received the Gold version and have played 2 rounds so far. As advertised I have gained an additional 10-20 yards. I really like the driver and now enjoy the game even more. I have had trouble registering the driver on their website and no email response from their support site. Any suggestions in this regard? John

Paul, you have recommended this driver and I like it, however it is draw biased. How about a lesson on set up and swing to hit this driver? How to hit that bread and butter fade.

    Thanks Ron

You’re going to make sure that your grip is neutral, not have too much of an in to out path and then making sure that hips turn circular not sliding (which would also make an in to out path). The face is slightly draw biased as they have determined this will help the regular amateur. If you are getting too much hook then I would start looking at the problems that I have explained here.

    Hi Paul:
I am fairly athletic and 76 years old, and started using your body swing golf program last season, which has made a difference and good improvement in my approach to golf and my swing,
Using my previous purchase from your company [Swing Caddie SC 200], I found that for my driver, I was hitting it around 215 yards, and in the 83-85mph range for my swing speed. Would I be best to get the blue shaft [80-90 mph, 200 yards] or order the black shaft [90-99 mph, 225 -250 yards] as I am trying to improve the speed of moving my lower body in the downswing. I have been working on trying to improve my downswing by using “silent arms” and lower body [trigger is pushing off the rear foot].

What shaft model would you recommend for me.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks for all you do to make golf so much more enjoyable for so many.

    Regards, EB (Bob] Paul
