  1. Well Paul that was a bit scary
    Don

  2. None of us has the build of MIKE DOBBYN (He’s huge ) ,but we certainly can learn from him .The drill he shows in tis video is very similar to those of the SUPERSPEED STICKS of MIKE NAPOLEON ;
    I use also a ribbon device from BEN JOHNSON ,the SNAG SNAPPER, with the same purpose .
    To those who want to learn how a long driver trains ,I recommend the book from another Long Drive Champion (2001),SEAN FISTER ,nicknamed the beast :the book is “THE LONG DRIVE BIBLE “.
    You’ll find in this book plenty of useful tips to improve the distance of your shots ;
    Apart from improving your technique (PAUL WILSON ) ,there’s no other way than to augment your flexibility and your strength

    Not sure what Mike Dobbyn means by both arms/both ways with one arm swing in swinging shaft without club head to improve speed? Right handed swing and left handed swing? Front arm and back arm?

      Stan,

      I think front arm both ways. I’ve seen him doing this as he warms up for years. I saw someone else talking about this a long time ago too. Give it a try.

    Holy moly. That was fast. Mike is one huge dude. Seems like a great guy. Would love to see him smack a drive in person.

      Glenn,

      Oh yeah. It is unreal when he hits it. Just move his body that hard and fast is incredible.
