In this tip I am talking about probably one of the most important drills you can be doing to get your hips moving first in the downswing. If you can work on this one move then you will become a better player and start to hit the golf ball with so much power. This really is the move that separates the pros from the amateurs. Start doing this and incorporating it into your swing and you will become a big hitter.

GregHillGreat drill, Paul! Thanks! I like to think of my “navel” turning away from the target in the backswing and toward the target in the downswing. Is it OK to turn the navel first in the takeaway while staying connected with the upper arms to the chest???
