RaymondCHASTELPaul This tip is universal but especially useful for the higher lofted clubs:9 iron ,pitching wedge ,gap wedge, sand wedge :the natural tendency is to play these short or medium distance pitch shots with the hands only .Even in the sand you must think about doing what you recommend in this video .
My personal “trigger ” ,or first move is to push slightly and slowly my left shoulder forward( A CARL LOHREN tip )

Paul WilsonRaymond,
Yes, this is all clubs even sand shots. Pushing is a great sensation. I will do that as a tip.

richardterryPaul I am doing this yet I still seem to slice the bar rather consistently what am I doing wrong

Paul WilsonIf you are slicing the golf abll then your wrists are too tight. You need to start to loosen up and do my “roll-over” drill. You need to get the golf ball hooking, hit many shots that go left (for a right handed golfer). Hook lots of shots over and over again, this is to manually loosen up your wrists. Then slowly add some body to the shots to straighten them out. Check out these tips:

ThomasGraySo is it possible that most golf instructors do not want you to succeed? Keep reading!
I had a 2 or 3 or 4 piece takeaway, and all my golf coaches would work on was the “swing plane”
well, after watching your one piece takeaway video, my game has improved 100%.
My 9 iron used to go 110, now 130….etc, etc…
I used your drills, and now have a pretty good one piece takeaway, and I now am having more fun than ever at golf!
A true fan!

Paul WilsonGreat stuff!! I do not think that they are trying to make you worse, but maybe they are not looking at the golf swing the same as I do. I know my method works and I have the 1000s of students to prove it.

ThomasGrayOK, I’ve got the one piece takeaway…..now, how to concur the notorious “chicken wing” follow-thru.??
August 19, 2020
Paul WilsonBest way to get rid of the chicken wing is to start to loosen up your arms. The chicken wing is from your arms being too tight and contracting. This is the best short series I have done to cure the chicken wing:
