Hey Paul. I have this cut down club that i swing inside, but due to it being short it Feels really light in the head. In order to feel more of the whip and the hands being stretched can i add something to get some more weight to the head?

      Stian,

Light is good because then your club will feel heavy. This is how it is supposed to feel. So you can swing that then transfer to a real club.

        Paul,

I notice you advertise and apparently recommend the Momentus Traveler. I assume this is a shorter club. Is it weighted heavier to feel like a real club? If it is weighted, does that conflict with the advice you provided to Stian? Not trying to call you out. Just want to make sure I get the right thing for my indoor practice during the winter season.

Love the How to Practice series. Did not know about the Indoor series shown above but will tag each of these lessons in my favorites.

Thanks much for the Ignition Golf site. There is nothing else like it!

          Mike,

It’s a short club is is heavy but not super heavy. I care about the short club not the weight in this case. This is for someone with limited space and it’s the only short club I can find. I have one and use it so it works fine. The weight is not that much of an issue. This is why I don’t promote the full length weighted club. That one is too heavy.

Glad you like the site. I really want to work this year on making it even better. A few things I need to do over the winter. Just need time to do them.

Thanks for the response Paul. The site is just awesome. Finding the Practice Drills Inside series was perfect for me.

I settled on using my grandson’s junior set 7-iron. Grip is a bit narrow but small and light. Hopefully my real 7 iron will feel heavy. His is great for doing some of your drills and checking my positions. I’m really understanding the need for position and practice repetitions so my club will literally go where it needs to go automatically without conscious thought. I’m getting there and enjoying the heck out of this journey you have taken me on.

Can’t wait for Ignition Golf 2019!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

      Mike,

Perfect. Junior 7 irons are great to do the practice swings with. I should source them.

A couple of new things that should help in 2019. I will let everyone know in the near future.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year too!
