    Paul,

    EXCELLENT topic and drill. Even as a better player, I do have a few topped shots that sneak in every once in a while, virtually always when trying to reach for a little bit more! Just like you said. So I can say with confidence that the advice is absolutely spot on. I could only do a few this eve with a wedge in the nearby park, but every shot was super solid without even a warm up. Just a great way to improve, because it is almost always something little to change that will have a big improvement.

    — definitely will work on the 3W and 5W fairway shots with this method, if nothing else but to just slow down that urge to amp it up. 🙂

    • You need a few weeks of working on this and it will become solidified in your golf swing. A pretty easy fix to a bad golf shot.
