johnhoyleGreetingsCoach: I have had great results using your chipping technique but now i am shanking the shot, not always but often. My grip is 4 knuckles ,i stand about a foot back,i put my right hand on the shaft off my right leg ,left foot turned out, i think “powerless arms”, so what do you think i am doing wrong?

Paul WilsonI would start by putting a club on the ground, a shank could be coming from too much in to out and causing the heel to come first. Also, make sure that you are not too much bent over. With chipping, you do not to think powerless arms. This is an arms thought, you want to think putting. Imagining your putter in your hands when you hit chips. Check out this video:

IanBernadtHi Paul,
Thanks for this useful tip. The pieces of the jigsaw that make up the effortless golfing swing are gradually fitting together. .By the way I ordered The Speed System Driver on the 2nd of July and it arrived here in Australia 6 days later-a postal record! It is 1 inch longer than my Ping driver and it works well giving me an easy extra 20 yards as predicted.
