  1. Paul, something is wrong with your video. The part from your waggle to after the swing has audio only. The video is frozen on the waggle. I tried several times and got the same results.

  2. Paul, it would be great to get some tips about playing in windy conditions!

  3. On my side the video is fine.

  4. Well said ,Paul. One thing which favors super seniors like me ,is that we know we can’t get to the green on long Par Fours or Par Fives in two shots and even in regulation ,so we concentrate on making our best smooth and oily swing and where we wish to land the ball, relying on our short game to score. What I always tell to youngsters playing with me and who want to hit the ball a mile is that what counts on the score card is getting in the hole first .

As a beginner, I just work on getting the green in 4. Then there’s no pressure on these long par fives. (I can’t hit any of my clubs over 150 but they are mostly straight as I hardly slice anymore thanks to Paul)
By the way, I like the new camera look!

    • John,

Yes, at this stage you would be looking at 4 shots to get there. I like your thinking.

The new camera is a gopro. Makes it easier. Might stick with it.

  6. Paul, the new camera is very clear, I like it a lot….No fuzziness at all on my IPad….very nice….

Paul, typically the fairway shot will be with a fairway wood or hybrid. I can’t find any tips or advice on hitting fairway woods or hybrids. Are they more like an iron or a driver?

You are playing these clubs like a long iron. Playing the club 1 golf ball inside the front heel with a medium stance. You are not changing your golf swing for the longer golf clubs like hybrids or fairway woods, they will change it for you. This is a pretty common problem with fairway woods; topping shots. Check out these tips:
