Take of 20 yards. That would be a severs slope. More than that (which is rare 30 yards).

PaulNetzelPaul, I have always hear this, but the my home course has both types of greens. The elevated green I usually take one more , but the down hill when I take one less I am short. Thanks Paul

This depends on how downhill the hole is. Also, you might be looking up and adding loft to your club. Watch this tip about adding loft:
