This is a great mental visualization from going from one motor to the other. I’ve been practicing for two years now the first year I just use my arms and didn’t understand hip rotation so I didn’t know how to make a transition to stop using my ‘motor’ arms.
Also after a year of watching Paul’s excellent videos I’m starting to use my hips and knees to drive the ball.
Living in Minnesota Paul has giving me some great practice routines by working on my swing and not trying to hit a ball.
I enjoy watching your exercise videos and practice some regularly as well.

Wow. I never fully understood the concept of hip rotation until this tip. I have continued at times to have lower back pain and fatigue, but did not understand why. Several golfers teachers tell us to pooch out our bums to get the correct position during the setup. This leftover from old swings are causing my problems. Thank you for much needed help.

Hi, It would be very helpful if you make a golf swing that incorporates what you are demonstrating with pelvic rotation. I’m particularly wanting to see and hear how the upper body moves in relation to pelvic rotation. Thanks, and keep up the great instruction.

Great tip Jeremy! Love the last drill especially. Doing your tests made me realize I need to work on this…

Ronald: Watch Paul’s recent tip on “Up in the air drill separation”. Or his video of his swing in slow motion.
