One of the better mental tips I have received. I listened to this last night a few times to let it synch in and then wrote it as a note on my iPhone so I have it. During a league match today I read it this a.m. and at one point during the match I was starting to get a bit down on myself and grabbed the phone and read it again. Very enlightening, thank you.
Your definition on competition is definitely different, and indeed “lighter.” In tourney play I get very focused, and usually do better than in casual play, yet also come away feeling worn out, more mentally than physically. I’ll be looking forward to seeing how keeping this definition with me throughout a round influences my game. If nothing else, it can ease the tension of a round :). Thanks!

mentalcoachJonathan,
Yes..it is very different.
Have had tremendous feedback from it…from those actually willing to drop their old/ineffective version for a few minutes.
Keep us updated!
