You mentioned that we should NOT draw confidence from results and i totally get that but you didn’t elaborate on WHAT to draw confidence from… what is the right mental approach… what CAN we control?
I have changed my mind set I don’t rush into set up I take more time to visually. see the shot before I strick the ball
Paul Wilson style of golf have been over a year I follow your mental game approach up until 3 days ago I was constantly shot 81 on a par 66 course I am now working with both of u and have reduced stroke per play for 3 days finally at 78
The short answer is only on things you have 100% control over.
The full answer has more to do with understanding the mind body relationship and how what you focus on absolutely triggers your performance.
When you focus on things you do not have 100% control over as most golfers do you are literally triggering doubt, frustration, inconsistency and emotional swings.
Why?
Because focusing on things you have less than 100% control over leads to a very unreliable and unstable base to work from
You have your own results to prove what I just wrote.

SueTeeThanks Dave for that rap on the noggin – It makes total sense and I promise to focus on what I CAN control going forward.
