    Hi Paul,
I’v been incorporating your positions along with hinging/re-hinging and the results are great. I get these great results when I swing at 50% to 65%. When I try to turn my hips faster, I don’t hit the ball straight. I get pulls, hooks and pushes.
I believe there is more to go with your techniques but not yet able to do it faster. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Tom

Best instruction I have seen on turning hips and hitting with lower body. Thanks.

I am going to try rotating faster so as to keep the body leading the already fast-moving yet powerless arms. Each time out at the range it is easier to turn the body and let the arms follow. The difficult part is nailing the follow-through. Hard work never hurt anyone.
    Any suggestions? SS

I think you said the camera died at the end. I am very interested in what you were saying when the camera died. Please pickup where you left off, in the next tip.
    Thanks

      Art,

The camera did die. I don’t think we got anymore. Next tip will be moving on to coiling then into more shots and driver.

  5. This was an excellent learning tool.

I have started incorporating your hip turn legs together position in my game is it normal as I tire the legs will stop working and lose my timing through the swing?

Paul, been working “dry firing” while our weather is nasty. Coming along – having been an “over the top with sway” bringing it down for 30 years, find that the “lock the lead knee” coupled with pushing with the right big toe is probably my best “trigger”. Certainly eliminates the dreaded sway… Just back from PHX and seven straight days of “18” on great courses. Your instruction is greatly improving my long and short game!!! Lots of room for improvement!!!

      Dan,

Very good. You are seeing what is coming if you keep doing it. This takes understanding and work but it pays off for those who do it. Keep doing it indoors. This is the best way to work on your swing.

Great lesson. I am practicing hip turn and finish and it seems to be working. What comes next?
