RaymondCHASTELThis drill reminds me of a very ancient DAVID LEADBETTER/NICK FALDO Drill from the 70’s/’80’s .
They did it with a large basket ball beween the knees or (as I did ) with a big 4 or 5 kgs medicine ball The trick was to let the ball drop latest possible .Some teachers after that (They don’t do it nowadays ) even told you to be knee knocked at address ,a very poor advice also.
I believe there should be no exaggeration in both ways .
The best advice was given by MICKEY WRIGHT to have the right leg flexed and braced at address.

ianshrimptonThis has come just at the right time for me. I have been guilty of swaying in the past so to avoid this, I have been turning my knees in during recent weeks. My feeling is being ‘knock kneed’ which helps me to get to the inside of the trail foot. It’s quite a subtle movement. The knee caps move about 1 inch. I started just turning the trail knee in but I now find it easier to turn both knees in. I was thinking it was just a ‘band aid’ but your tip has given me the confidence to continue. Are there any drawbacks with turning the knees in? Ian

IanBernadtThanks Paul. This tip and the prevoius “How fast can you do it right” are easily worth more than a year’s subscription.
Cheers,
Ian.
