silica2202Paul, an image for release that I’ve found works well for me is the motion of popping a towel or cracking whip with hands & arms. But instead of initiating with hands in towel pop, the hips initiate the swing in the golf “pop”. This seems to negate the overpowering notion, for me, to “hit” the ball as opposed to swinging “through” it.
