  1. Liked this and should be very helpful. Do you have a suggested lesson schedule like starting with follow point B etc.

This video just laid out the schedule: grip, setup, follow through not sure what more else there is to say. You can find these tips under SWING TIPS > FULL SWING

Point B is the follow through

  2. I really like your teach method an it has worked for me over the past several years. Keep up the good work!

  3. I’ve been a member for nearly two years now ….and have had huge success with your method (my handicap index went from 25 to 13 in 18 months). I have a few ‘suggestions’ as the website now has so much info it can be difficult for “newbies” to figure out where to start….and I think that’s why you posted this tip

I started off with your book Swing Machine Golf and the associated videos and the short game video advertised on the site. After that I was able to move to review and understand the golf swing in much greater detail moving topic by topic down the video archive entitled “full swing”. After understanding “the swing” I then understood the “drills” and ‘Cures” sections and then was able to move on to chipping and putting etc.

I think that you need to divide your website into 4 subdivisions

    1. Level 1
“the basic golf swing”……as taught in your book going chapter by chapter presenting one or two videos selected from your video archive. Also,at the end,I would have a separate chapter placing special emphasis ‘powerless arms’ which is The key idea

    2. Level 2
“the golf swing in greater detail” ….. posting more information for each ‘position’ as you presently have it on the “full swing” section. I would also reorganise the “full swing” heading into the way you teach the golf swing ….grip, then set up,then follow thru

    3. Level 3
five subdivisions….driver ,pitching, greenside bunkers, chipping, putting
    4. Level 4
advanced play….which would contain everything else ie .ball above feet, drawing, fading, pro vs amature etc

You have a fantastic website with lots of info making a subscription to Golfdigest or SI Golf totally unnecessary…I don’t even look at Revolutiongolf anymore….

Thanks for the suggestion. I am trying to figure something out.

Glad you like the site and understanding that golf magazines etc. are unnecessary. Following too many different theories about the swing can certainly lead to confusion. This is the main reason I left Revolution Golf.

  4. It’s a tribute to Paul that people like Michael are taking the time and energy to contribute their thinking. However, my understanding is that Paul does EVERYTHING and he has to allocate his resources to optimize what he gives us. You can always improve on little things, and there are more “sophisticated web sites”, but they don’t have Paul, who seems to constantly think about how to make us improve. That is where he contributes most.

Paul, the most influential factor is your presence and whatever you come up with during the week, that is what grabs our attention and inspires us. By you coming up with variations on the same thing, you manage to get us to insist and follow your method, rather than go to another “guru”, with a perhaps more fancy web site.

My only feedback is to ask you to think about those of us who have made significant progress in the swing, enjoy progress with the armless motion and are now “stuck” somewhere else. I would like to see some more energy and presence by you on the short game. I know it’s all in the archive, but if you kept coming at me the same way as with the full swing, this will take my game to the next level.

I am sure your instruction has significantly help most followers as it helped me. Congratulations for being the most effective teacher I have had, despite not being able to interact with you face to face. Hopefully I shall have the privilege one day.

Thanks for the kind words and support.

You are right. I do a lot of it myself. The site is always a work in progress and always trying to make it better. I will shoot more short game tips in the future. Keep in mind when it is winter here the short game area doesn’t look all that great so I don’t want to shoot tips with these conditions. For now, stick the archive and more will come in the future.

    Hi Paul,
Honestly I think most of your followers are grown up and should get through all of this by themselves. As you always mention, working on one area in the swing at a time until mastered and repeatable close to 90% of the time!

However, some reminder on short game won’t hurt and inspire us even more, as shortgame is the scoring area for most of us!

I am able to play my most consistent golf ever following your method at 50 years of age now! Keep up your outstanding great work!

    Thanks a lot for everything!

Thanks for the feedback and support. I truly appreciate it.

There are tons of short game tips in the archive. I will be shooting more once the course greens up. Just search SWING TIPS and you will see them.

  6. Hi Paul,

It amazes me how you can address different areas in ways that help tremendously, yet most of us couldn’t put into words in a million years. You have an incredible knack for teaching. I am thrilled to a part of your following.

    Thanks again,

    • Len,

Thanks for the kind words and support. I truly appreciate it.

When I first started this with Revolution Golf I thought I only has 30 tips and was worried I was going to run out of material. Now, I have over 600 tips posted on this site and a list of about 700 more. I will just keep doing what I am doing. Hopefully, people hear it in a way that they too have the lightbulb moment like I had.

Paul, love the site and you are an amazing teacher. I’ve been jumping around on here but now I will use the site like you’ve said to. I just joined a few weeks ago and already shot my score 86. No slicing or chunked chips. Two things that use to kill me.i following your instruction on neutral grip, swing easy no tension And your chipping technique. You really have covered everything on here. I had a major problem with my swing where I was severely cupping at the top. Couldn’t find anything on the Internet or anybody who could prevent me from doing it. You were exactly right, I had it too much in the fingers instead of across the left Palm. I am a believer now and will recommend your site to everybody. Thanks. life is better when playing good golf.

Thanks. Glad you like the site. Just going to make it better and better.

Yes, you need to have a plan otherwise it is just experimenting.

Overcupping is a big problem but you are right, most have no idea why it’s happening. Glad you tried it. The grip has such an effect on the swing. Got to get it right but it is uncomfortable. Keep at it.

Thanks for the promo to others. I really appreciate it.
