Paul, I’ve got some pretty bowed legs and have a real problem getting my legs to touch without my back foot moving forward. I’m getting up on my toe but can’t get my legs to touch. Any help?

I have taught many golfers with the same problem, you just have to get to your maximum. If you physically cannot touch your legs together then try to get ot a point that is YOUR maximum and this will be your ending point. Just always be thinking that you have to use your legs and hips to hit shots. Check out this tip:

Paul: Since I have very little hip movement “At All” in my backswing or downswing, when and how much should I turn my hips in the backswing? I hinge my wrists fairly soon in the backswing, but I don’t know what to do next??? Thinking of turning my shoulders has always been inconsistent for me. I get very little shoulder or hip turn in the backswing. Thanks for your help!

This is a question that I receive a lot, golfers who have a limited amount of hip mobility in the backswing. You want to be trying to get your shoulders to about 90 degrees at the top of the backswing. You really want to try to get the thoughts of shoulders turning into the backswing. Check out this tip to help you get more mobility:

Hi Paul. After 3 years my old body and mind have finally synced up. After struggling through trying and flipping back and forth between the triggers, I have finally/recently settled on the straighten the leg downswing trigger. Wow. I now finally have the feeling of powerless arms…… in fact once the back-swing is complete, I am not even aware of my arms. I just focus on straightening the lead leg and the ball flies. Took me a while, but it has finally clicked. The secret as you often stated is to try all the triggers, find one that best suits you and stick with it forever…… no more flipping between triggers. Thanks.
