Your hamstring is cramping because you’re actively using it to curl your heel to your back pocket. If it’s prone to cramping you must keep it relaxed and rely completely on the strap and use your arms to pull your heel to your back pocket. When something in the front of your thigh is tighter than what the hamstring can handle, it fails and cramps. Use a strap and relax that hamstring as much as you possibly can.
