Paul WilsonRich,
Well, 99% of the grip do have these tick marks. You must be using a brand that doesn’t. Why not put your own tick mark on them with a magic marker?

This is an old tip but should show it.

RaymondCHASTELI don’t neither have any dot or white mark on the grip end .
It’s so easy not to have the club face square to the target line at address and a sloppy club face orientation can ruin your impact position .
There’s a parallax problem with your eyes when looking from above.
I use the well known JACK NICKLAUS tip by squaring the club face to a mark just in front of the clubface .

Paul WilsonRaymond,
Well, 99% of the grip do have these tick marks. You must be using a brand that doesn’t. You can certainly use the intermediate target as well. This is just another way to check especially if people are working on proper grip position.
