Usually THAT voice is louder–more insistent. That’s your EGO VOICE.
The quiet voice is the gut wisdom talking–it never gets loud or demands your attention–it just “whispers” and you always have the choice of which one you want to listen to. That’s where your decision power comes in.
No tip or strategy needed. Just choose–Choice is your most powerful weapon.
ok, I get your point, but what if that voice is the voice of non-confidence in your abilities. how can you distinguish between the two scenarios (scenarii?)?
confidence being so important in the game, I feel the question is quite relevent.
best.

Your question is VERY relevant and a great one! I like that “scenarii”–:)
I’m known as “The Simple Idiot” in the golf world for a reason (a tag I wear proudly, by the way).
Let’s keep this simple.
The distinguishing factor is this:
1. The “voice” of non-confidence, lack of faith/trust and so on IS our ego voice. The ego is interested in 2 things and 2 things only–power and control and it will do whatever it needs to have them–including sending you those messages.
The non-confidence voice is based on what? Nothing more than the tape you’ve recorded over time (i.e. “I can’t do this”, “I always miss this”, etc.). There is no basis for future fact in there–only a statement of what was done in the past–WHICH PROVES NOTHING AS TO WHAT IS POSSIBLE RIGHT NOW OR IN THE FUTURE.
2. The quieter voice I mentioned in an earlier post is the voice of your inner wisdom. It is the voice of confidence and has no need to yell or get your attention–and allows for your best to come forward.
