OK, today I am playing and will try this. I was hesitant because my arms tend to fire first when I coil. So, I will have to use my downswing trigger quicker before with the coil because there is no time for a longer pause at the top to give me time to turn off my arms.

Update– I was not successful yesterday trying to prevent my arms from firing first when I wind my shoulders back. I still coil but really have to differentiate between upper arms which are closer to tight and tense shoulders, and the forearms/wrists which I want to be 100 percent tension free.

    • Thanks for the reminder. I followed your instructions and was hitting the golf ball, much more consistently, and even farther.
Appreciate your golf suggestions. They are well done

I like this approach to distance. I am 84 and DETERMINED to get this “no arms” swing as the standard. I am not even looking for more distance but realize that over the years have lost at least two clubs in distance. So just keeping what I have and adding if possible is the goal. I am working hard on this and am realizing a little more distance!! The coil will perhaps add more……if I can just keep it loose. This is great stuff. Will keep you posted.
