  1. Should my arms be connected on the side of my chest or at the arm pits I’m having a problem with this really like the lessons and tips thx much

  2. Hi, Paul. Isn’t there a video of Ben Hogan on the Ed Sullivan’s show starting swings with his arms connected to his body and then moving from that to full swings? When I saw this tip, I thought you might be talking about other types of damaging movements. I move my body towards the ball on the start of the down swing sometimes. I also at times make unwanted, unconscious movements of my body that throws the downswing off plane. Do you think there is any value to hit balls with your eyes closed (a few pros have done this while playing chip shots and putting). When I hit balls with my eyes closed, I consistently make better contact and my swing feels very different. I am going to record my swing when I hit with my eyes closed and compare it to my regular swing. Thanks.

    Hi Paul,

Hope you’ve been well, and that things are getting a back toward normal where you are!

My swing was apparently sloppier than I knew, because I tried the Swing Jacket you mentioned (40 or 50 swings a day), and I’ve noticed a considerable improvement in muscle memory to produce a tighter swing. The muscle memory translates well to longer swings on the course.

Driving range yesterday before 18, and did drills and hit balls using this tip and the “Super Short Backswing” tip…. Major change. Need to do more of the same.
