GordonBaileyPaul, I like this drill. Can you do a tip on then checking it in your full swing? Merry Christmas and I hope you are well!

PETERMCMULLENOne day late with this reminder. I remember you did this tip once bebore. Today I had miserable day with locked up wrists. I need to remember this drill. Thanks for the reminder.

Paul WilsonPeter,
Well, we all have bad days but you need to know how to instantly unlock the wrists. This means that as soon as you lock them on the first shot you are immediately doing the drill below to unlock them.
Modified Roll Over Drill: https://ignitiongolf.com/modified-roll-over-drill/
If so you immediately cure any kind of slice spin.
If you end up pull hooking it the wrists are unlocked but your body is not working so you focus on body first. If so, you are now dead straight.

SteveWeberGreat tip Paul, thanks! This really showed me how much more extension I should be getting than I am. I also found it a nice way to hit effortless high, soft 50-70 yard wedges as a bonus!

Paul WilsonSteve,
Glad you liked it. Thanks. This would definitely help the short game too. Great drill everyone should be doing.

BruceBergGreat lesson Paul. Coming back from left hand surgery, I seem to be overcompensating with my right hand as I am hitting a lot of hooks and draws. Can you give me a modified drill (unable to curl LH little finger on grip, which is improving, but slowly) to lessen the natural right hand grip trying to maintain and takeover my swing? I was doing this today at the range and feel like I can’t get the right hand weak enough.
Thanks
Bruce

Paul WilsonBruce,
You could slide your ring finger of the right hand up so you would be overlapping with 2 fingers instead of just the pinky (Jim Furyk does this). I would also check your right hand grip position. I am holding it in the fingers which really deadens this hand. Make sure the V is on top. Give this a try and see what happens.

Paul WilsonBruce,
Good stuff. Indoors is the best way to work on this stuff.
