  1. Hi Paul
i believe several golf teachers of the past said learn to hook the ball first then learn how to use the body !!! yet if im right lately modern teaching seems to have the player ‘holding’ the club face with no roll over? any thoughts?
    Cheers Ian

    • Ian,

If you want to hit the ball sideways and never improve then follow holding the clubface with no roll.

The wrists are not wrists. They are a hinge. A hinges hinges … and re-hinges. They are seeing the person hitting the ball. I am seeing you as Iron Byron. Copy the machine and hit it perfectly. All you have are 2 components. Body rotation and loose hinge. Then you need to do it on a tilt. Get the components and you get the tilt so basically 2 things you need to work on. Do it their way and you will spend a lifetime trying to learn it and you will most likely never get it.
