DougHareI have a problem with early extension resulting in losing posture. I think I have been moving my right hip forward instead of my left hip back on the downswing. I’m trying to correct the problem. Could this also be causing me to slice my driver and lose distance?
Thank you for all your great tips.

Paul WilsonThis could cause the arms/wrists to be locking up and then causing the slice. I would start by slowing down and then curing the spin on the golf ball first. Start by getting the golf ball to hook. Then work on getting your lower body to turn correctly. Try these tips:

BillFreemanHi Paul,
I was surprised by this tip. Not about “the biggest problem of slicing,” but that you focused on the wrists. I totally accept what you said and, in fact, benefit from the pre-shot practice swings to loosen the wrists.
But it’s just that I would have thought the biggest cause of slicing is hitting with the arms, starting with the arms and coming over the top. That seems soooo prevalent.
