      David,

Oh yes. Alignment is the most important lesson in golf yet few people care. I hope all the members here do. They should.

    Paul,

You referred me to this tip from my question about club face alignment difficulties. It was very helpful. I had been making my intermediate target too far out.

I assume also that one should align the club face before securing their grip, correct?

Also, I have historically set my hands too far forward, which tends to force the face open. When I get it to square at that point then realize my hands need to be back even with the ball, this would force the face into a closed position when I pull my hands back, correct? Not a good situation for someone that tends to hit pull-hooks.

Thanks for getting me to the right tip.

    Mike

    Paul,

Thanks much for the very complete answers.

A question, since the new platform rolled out, I am not getting email notifications of posted Q&A. Is that function working?

I actually would like to receive email notifications for any postings on any video. Is this possible.

    Thanks,
    Mike

      Michael,

As far as I know this is working. I have not been notified it is not. Make sure the check box is checked right below the comment box. Also, check your spam folder.
