  1. Hi Paul. I am starting really get the parts put together with say yes. I have one question. My height on wedge thru 6 is great but I am stinging my 5 and 4 iron at much lower trajectory than I need to hold the greens. Any checkpoints I should go to to help get this corrected. Thx. Don

    • Donald,

If you are hitting it low you are de-lofting the club. There is no other reason. This is most likely you putting a little more into it which is causing you to get ahead of the ball as you hit the ball. This would de-loft it. You could also check your grip. I’ve seen a lot of people re-gripping just before they take it back which de-lofts it too.

      This might help too:

  2. The two Golf Pro’s I try to emulate for their easy relaxed swings are ERNIE ELS (“The Big Easy “)and LOUIS OSTHUIZEN .They send the ball far and precise with seemingly effortless swings .We don’t have many footages of BOBBY JONES ,but he too swung the club sweetly .The difficulty of the exercise is to increase the speed of the swing without losing the relaxness..

  3. Hi

Since I have been using your method, which I really enjoy, I am having a sore right shoulder

any ideas why this is happening??

    Thanks

  4. Hi Paul, do you have a good tip for correcting early extension. When turning to the straight left leg, i am extending toward the ball, instead of around the leg. Any help is appreciated

  5. Paul, honestly, I can’t thank you enough. This effortless swing is perfect for me. I tried stack n tilt and various alternatives. But your method works best for me, by a mile.

Even with my swing faults (stiff wrists) my smash factor was really good, but I suffered with a hook or a push.

I have NEVER hit the ball as far or as straight or with such contact and consistency, and I’ve only practiced a few times with your approach.

Today I got the driver going too. It’s harder for me to swing easy with the driver. There’s more work to be done there, but I’m so happy to have found you.

I play off 9, returning to golf after a 35 year layoff. I’m 53, but in good physical shape and supple. I had almost resigned myself to never getting below 5, a handicap I held as a teenager, but now I can see that 5 could be modest for this swing. I’m genuinely blown away. Thank you so much.

    Adam
