    Great motivational video. Now I have to continue my neverending search to find the feeling of nothing. I have been there several times, but hopefully I will have it more often as I ccontinue to follow you and your teachings. I still haven’t found any other swing as smooth and effortless as yours on a teaching pro. Thanks .

      If you have felt it once you can feel it again. Remember back to the feeling. It felt effortless. If it felt effortless why would you try to keep feeling power. Feel nothing and you will have it again.

    very relevant video, as always. It’s been now almost a year since I started to apply your technique, and I can say that the pay-off is now there. It only takes time, but you’re absolutely right when you say it cannot be done overnight. At the beginning, I could only get glimpses of it, now I can experience it more often : powerless arms = really good golf (and pleasant as well). During my last training session last saturday, I was focused on what you keep telling us (and thanks for having the patience to repeat video after video !) : no arms, touch the legs, touch the ears which really became my keys. After practicing on the range, I went for a relaxed 9 holes, just for training, no scoring purpose. For the first time, I decided to play all-irons, from tee to green, no driver allowed. The greatest reward was that I could hit very decent 4, 5 and 6 iron shots, even making back-to-back 4-pars (which is something I wouldn’t have thought possible in my wildest dreams a year ago). I remember very precisely some 5 irons shots from the fairway, with nothing but the feeling of a smooth movement and my ball flying straight and high. Same applies to the wedge play : when my arms are really turned off, and the swing you advocates for is in place, I love when I know instantly by the finish position that the ball is going to land where I intended it to do so and don’t even need to look at it! Last thing, being in my late 40s and having experienced at times real pain in the back, I all the more appreciate a very efficient swing with minimum efforts.

      Glad you are getting it. After you keep doing this go up to hitting hybrids. Then 3 wood of the tee. Then driver. You only have one swing. When you truly have it all clubs should work.

    Nicklaus ? His book. ” how I play golf” dosent
    Seem to convey this message?
    Sounds like tiger could benefit from this
    Style of swing and lose his violent swatting
    Motion!
    Maybe get those 4 majors he’s after!

      I save a quote from Jack a long time ago. I can’t fin it now though. He was hitting a hard 3 iron or easy 2. He hit the easy 2 over the green and said he should maybe have this feeling more often. I should try and find it again.

      Yes, many tour players could benefit from powerless arms. Unfortunately, they try to go all out and hit the ball all over the place. Without a good short game the would not shoot the scores they do.

  4. An excellent pitch for the “POWERLESS ARMS “case .Having picked this technique since I started with you ,Paul ,a bit more than one year ago ,I can attest it does work .
    There is something to add ,nevertheless:you have to have ” flexible “arms and “flexible” rotators in the shoulders .
    I stretch my arms and shoulders regularly with a set of devoted exercises,with and without rubber bands .,some are straight out from the book “30 exercises for better Golf “by famous (late :he just passed away this year ) orthopedist Dr FRANK JOBE ,which he wrote in the ’70’s ,with other specialist orthopedists from CENTINELA HOSPITAL
    Maybe JEREMY KLINKHAMER could show what he would recommend on his side to improve flexibiilty of the arms and shoulders (He already showed an exercise for the rotators )
