I have been playing with a rather weaker grip than the usual neutral 2 knuckle position on the left hand. I am trying to change it now. Making changes to a new grip is extremely difficult. I feel now that I got all this power on my hands and the last thing I want to do now is to hit or help the ball in anyway after trying so long to master powerless arms. Can I know the consequences of playing with a weaker grip?
I noticed the following:
1) Harder to release the club
2) Lack distance and power
3) The club face is open at impact at times( I hardly ever miss any short to the left)

Greetings Paul I think i am starting to see the light. I feel the hing at the top of my backswing , not always yet but more and more. I like the image of turning the belt buckle to start the downswing I like the point a to point b and the thought of not really having to think about the ball, that may come later but if not it would be ok with me It is starting to be clear.
That’s great. Just stay focused on getting the ending. Hold it and check it:

Keep turning the arms off and pretty soon you will hit that one effortless shot that will tell you that you are doing it right. Then you have to keep doing it.
and i should also to feel really good
