Hey Ben,
Glad to hear it! You should start to video yourself doing the exercise if you can. When you play back throwing video in slow motion it’s great feedback.

Jeremy ,Do you get the same benefit by throwing a Médicine Ball laterally the farthest possible ?
I train occasionally with the “TORNADO BALL ” (or POWER BALL ),the most posible turns with the ball hitting a wall behind me in 10 s.
But this last exercise is good for building core stregth more than speed …
There’s another ” throwing ” drill ,a bit unusual :you do YOUR normal swing with an old club and you Release -let go -the club straight forward :takes some Time to be used to it but very effective indeed ,Some Pro’s recommend this drill .Better throw the club on a grassy surface and where you have enough Space ! Béware if not !
Another exercice I practise daily is throwing sticks undehand to m’y big German Shepherd dog when I walk him in the forest twice a day .Hé really loves this ” exersize “”
That’s fine if you don’t overdo it. Too man people start moving laterally when they hold there back to the target. If you find this is happen start turning more in the downswing.

Jeremy KlinkhamerHi Raymond,
I’m using a relatively flat soccer ball in the video. I’d prefer a ball that’s 0-4 lbs. Throw at any angle you like.

BenG’day Jeremy,
This is good cross training. I can feel the benefit in sequencing the legs, then the body and the extension of the arms.
