Great words David. I’m the one trying too hard to hit the ball and to relax, so definitively I need to change my strategy.

    I think this quote applies:

” … always do your best, no more and no less …” Don Miguel Ruiz

To me, this means overdoing it is just as bad as not doing enough.

I too try too hard AT TIMES. So, your analogy to driving a car got me to thinking( not a good idea on the course). If I’m driving in a snow storm I am TRYING very much to get the job done. So, hitting key shots under the gun, for me, is like driving in a storm. I wouldn’t relax while driving. How can I get out of the storm and back on the course when every instinct is telling me to focus more, try hard, the conditions aren’t normal?

  5. Hi Dave,
words of wisdom, yet Master Yoda takes it a step further : “Do or do not. There is no try” (The Empire strikes back).
