  1. I have not seen any instruction on how to keep the left arm (right-hander) straight. In order to keep the arms straight and the wrists and arms loose, what muscles in the shoulders should be contracted and how much? I don’t know how to keep the arm straight without some muscle tightness.

Thanks for your clear, articulate instruction. I usually understand, but have a question. Please help me reconcile the following: In “Snap Part 3” , the snap seems to be quick. In “Shifting weight too soon to forward leg” you said the shift in the downswing is gradual. I like the gradual. Perhaps I was being too “quick.” Thanks again.

      Charles,

It is a feeling not reality. I want you to do this in practice swing to get the feeling of both snaps. Get the feeling and your body and wrists doing it then apply it to a ball. Don’t over think it. If you feel the 2 snaps in a practice swing you are doing the right moves.

Hi Paul. I have been working on getting the arms extended and I found something similar helping me. Swing thought:
Not just stretching the arms but Turn left hip First and then allow the arms to stretch. Good swing thought?

Another question, does it feel like you are swinging the club more around yourself, more like a baseball swing?
