Good tip as usual. I have been focusing a lot on getting the club to hit the back of my head on the follow through. If I don’t, I don’t complete the downswing. This is often at the expense of the focusing on lower body starting down. Consequently, I sometime pull and push the ball. You said trust you will get there and go back to focusing on the downswing trigger only. Will do..

That’s great. You certainly know how important this position is. You need to keep getting it there every time until it always ends up there. At this point you can switch to mastering other positions. It’s like a puzzle. You need all pieces to see the whole picture.

I am having trouble getting any distance on the golf course. I golf in a 2 man best ball foursome and we are fiercely competitive. They seem to hit 200 + yards while I am 175 if lucky (with a fairway wood). How can I achieve more distance without wanting to hit with my arms in the downswing?

We have distance categories on both the original site and dashboard.
Original site – Go to red navigation bar > Golf Tips > Power
Dashboard – Go to Distance at the top of the page
The 2 main thing you need to be working on is loosening your wrists and driving your body way harder. At not even 200 yards you are not turning anywhere near fast enough.
Every night you need to be doing this drill:

Along with that you need to be working on your release:
