Paul, I have become a disciple of your powerless arm swing. It is working amazingly well , when my mind does not get in the way. I would recommend your Swing Machine instructional video’s to any one, especially those to whom the golf swing is not intuitive. This may be semantics, but it seems to me I recall in your video’s that you used two words, “Separation” which is the delay in your upper body following the lower body. And “lag” which as I recall, is the delay in unhinging on the down swing. Both are desired, but it seems that this tip is more about “Separation”, which for me is paramount for a number of reasons. One being that effective “lag” cannot happen with out proper “Separation”.

      Jeff,

Thank you for your kind words about Swing Machine Golf. I truly appreciate the feedback.

Oh yes, the 2 can be connected for sure. Unfortunately getting people to do both is tricky. I will keep explaining them and trying to figure out new way people can get them easily (watch for the lag tip coming up on Sunday). They take a bit of work but once you get either you hit the ball so much better than with no lag or separation. You are seeing it so definitely stick with it.

Paul ,I ‘ve seen a number of Pro’s using a “pressure board ” or a “pressure mat “to analyze how and where you create the “vertical ” forces and the torque to propel the lower body, the technique you teach together with the “powerless arms ” .In fact you use the legs and the body as a modern “sling “,analog to the one “frail “King DAVID used to slay” mighty” GOLIATH .It would be interesting that you to show this “pressure mat ” in your excellent golf teaching

      Raymond,

I’ve seen the pressure plate a few times. I don’t really have access to one around here. I will keep it in mind though.
