Very interesting lesson ,Dave ,what you say applies to most human activities !
I was a top 100 meters Free style swimmer some 60 years ago ,and we were taught to wriggle like Worms before going to the starting plot and dive off .
I utilize another technique also to get loose before a tough shot :tigthen all my body to the utmost then let go and proceed with the shot .
It works !
By the way the quality of the Video was really awful:Paul hasen’t got it fixed!It stops all the Time !z

I saw and listned to this video two years ago ,Dave ,and Still thinking it’s great.This Time there was nô (except at the end) parasitical noise ,and YOUR phrasing was understandable .what a good analysis and advice !I just follow What you say ,and couple it with the ” wiggling ” of m’y Arms and TORSO ,and off I go.

I have been hitting the ball off the tee much better lately . However I played in a tournament today with people I don’t play with . I couldn’t get off the tee with one decent drive . I suspect it was a mental problem ,nerves whatever but usually I can overcome that after a couple of holes .Couldn’t get out of that situation today . My short game was ok. Any tips on what I can do in a situation liked that? Thanx
