Hi Dave
Thanks for all your comments .One of my more vexing problems is that people tell me I have a great practice swing but it doesn’t follow when I go to hit the ball .They then tell me not to take a practice swing but that doesn’t help . It seems I fall apart when I go to hit the ball . (Not always but too many times )Any suggestions ?Thanx

You can’t take your practice swing to the course because you do not know the exact swing positions you should be doing. Because you don’t know the positions you step up to the ball and whack at it. This is not what I teach. I teach exact positions that I cannot do any better than you and they give you feedback so you will know you are doing them exactly right.
Once you know the positions and care about doing them you don’t care about hitting the ball. Instead, you do the positions knowing the ball will be hit.
Thanks Dave, Your tips always seem to come just at the right time.I played a scrappy game today with some great shots which I had put out of my mind. I feel better now in retrospect.
