    Hi, amazing program!
Looking forward to improve my golf skills faster and in the most proficient way.
Even rain lets me practice with just using indoor tips.

    Thanks,

      Kurt,

Indoor practice is a great way to work on positions. I hope everyone does this. Build a great swing then put the ball back in. It’s about the movement.

  2. Hi Paul….I saw a recent video where the instructor recommended shorts thumbs in the grip….he explained it made it easier to set the wrists…I went on the golf course and play 2 or 3 balls down and used this method and found that I could release the club head much easier…..what is your opinion on short thumbs in the grip? thank you Rocco

    • Rocco,

I don’t teach long or short. I teach thumb against the side of your hand. If you have a short or long thumb you would be holding the club parallel to your knuckles which can allow you to over-cup the left wrist at the top of the backswing so you need to be careful. I did a shor thumb many years ago and I developed a blood blister on my left heel pad.

Have you done my grip and hit 30 shots in a row? If so, your wrists would loosen up and you would start releasing the club with the new grip. The grip does take time to get used to.

    Hi Paul

When I put my trailing hand on in the fingers like you my hand naturally wraps all the way over to the left and the v points at my left shoulder what am I doing wrong.?

      Andy,

You either hands long fingers or you are not wedging your left thumb into the fleshy part of the right hand. If it doesn’t fit in there it will wrap on too much and V will point to the left ear. So focus on wedging it in the plus look at the lines. It is important they are parallel so make them parallel and see how the right hand has to fit in with the left thumb to get it.

  4. This grip is different from a conventional grip in that the handle is across the pad on the left hand and not below the pad. Is there a reason for this?
