    At my course we have narrow fairways, with thick lush 3 inch ruff, the club tends to stop in this stuff on the downswing, even the wedges have a hard time some of the time as the ball will nestle in the grass.

  2. HI, Paul;
    One of my playing partners hits the ball incredibly high & spins the ball too much. How is backspin controlled so that it doesn’t back up 6 ft.away from the hole? Would a harder ball help or is it just from his swing? His swing speed is pro level. Is club head speed also a factor in creating spin as mine is very slow. I’m already using the softest ball on the market so that shouldn’t be a factor.I’m also having an issue with club head release that’s causing me to pull the ball. Is this a timing issue for when the release happens or something else? I know for certain it’s not an alignment issue. Thanks.

  3. Hi Paul,

    I am a new member and just retired a few months ago and now have time to work on my game. So far, I am finding your easy swing approach to be very helpful. The biggest problem with my game has always been hitting crisp and consistent irons. Based on what I’ve learned so far from your teachings, it appears that I may creating too much tension in my arms during the downswing. Any thoughts? Thanks.
